BDM has been in business since 2005 and has helped hundreds of clients through the process of arriving at a financial settlement in their divorce proceedings by providing expert witness Court-compliant pensions reports.
Our expanding team of actuaries and medical assessors is supported administratively through our office in Littlehampton, West Sussex and is headed up by our MD, Mr Peter Moore, who has over 40 years of experience in the financial service sector.
We are proud that we are the first actuarial firm in our business sector to be awarded accreditation under the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ voluntary Quality Assurance Scheme.
Meet the Team
Peter is one of the co-founders of BDM and now leads the business, having accumulated a vast and ranging experience in the finance and pensions arena. Peter uses his broad base of experiences not just to manage the business, but also to lead both system development and marketing.
It has been said of Peter that if anyone can explain the intricacies of pensions in divorce matters without sending the listener comatose, its Peter.
In his spare time his two passions are classic sports cars and sailing and we’ll leave it to Peter to explain to you what a Cornish Crabber is!

John is our Senior Consultant Actuary and a Francophile (but we won’t hold that against him!). He graduated from Cambridge, had a very successful international career with Sun Life Assurance, and is a Fellow of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries of long-standing.
John often authors some of the more complex cases we handle and also is instrumental in maintaining our in-depth knowledge of pension schemes and new variants.
In his spare time (although he would argue he doesn’t have any) he can be found hopping over to France to enjoy their culinary and oenophilic delights.
